Artist: Paul Smith
Biography:
Paul Smith owns and operates Kensho Screenwriter’s Workshop. A former Los Angeles development executive for a major studio, he has also been employed as both writer and editor for PBS television and National Geographic. He has written dozens of screenplays, sold two, and is currently adapting a popular animation series for a feature film. His courses are designed to introduce students to the mechanics and fundamentals of writing for film and television. Paul studied film and screenwriting at Ithaca College.

The Munny Project
An interactive project involving visual arts, story telling and movement. Students create their own “munny” character, assign it character traits and create a story-line in groups. Music and creative movement also incorporated. Continue reading
