Artist: Melissa Roxey
Biography:
Melissa Roxey is the co founder and Associate Director of Roxey Ballet and the Director of the affiliated Mill Ballet School. She is an accomplished teacher following her professional career as a dancer. She was a soloist with the American Repertory Ballet and then a principal with the Dayton Ballet Company. Along with her husband, Mark, she conducts highly successful residencies and workshops at schools throughout the state and beyond.

The Munny Project
An interactive project involving visual arts, story telling and movement. Students create their own “munny” character, assign it character traits and create a story-line in groups. Music and creative movement also incorporated. Continue reading
