Artist: Jeff Dershin

Biography:

Jeff Dershin has spent 3 decades as an entertainer and educator. He has toured Europe as keyboardist with the seminal rock/fusion band “Sweet Smoke,” accompanied Pat Benatar and Patty Smyth, served on the faculty of public and private schools, directed musical plays both in schools and off-Broadway, and has written original music (traditional and electronic) for theatre, dance and film.

Jeff has performed at formal social functions, both as side-man and band- leader. As a member of the Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, Jeff hosted “Brown Bag-It with the Arts,” the weekly summer arts series broadcast on Suburban CATV (Now Comcast) and was also a guest artist. He has performed for pre-school children and senior citizens, and has presented at numerous “Career Days.”

Jeff was educated at SUNY Binghamton, Juilliard and West Chester University.
